Tell the fishery managers how you feel about the Ministry of Fisheries proposal to take your kahawai and give it away in perpetuity to the commercial sector.

The MFish deadline for submissions to the Kahawai IPP was extended to 16 April 2004.

option4 have left you the opportunity to have your say despite the deadline date.

Kahawai are being introduced into the Quota Management System (QMS) on 1 October 2004. The Ministry of Fisheries has issued their management proposal in a document, the Initial Position Paper (IPP). The original submission deadline was 27 February 2004.

Please take the time to read the information provided and support option4 in our stance to protect this fishery.
