Koha

Ngati Whatua have generously offered us hospitality at the Naumai marae. A koha of $50 per person would be appreciated. Please give this to Trish Rea during your time at Naumai.

Directions

Naumai marae is between Dargaville and Ruawai on the West Coast, in the Kaipara area. Coming from the north Naumai is about 3-5 kms south of Tokatoka maunga (mountain). From the south it is around two hours drive from Auckland. A map is attached for your reference.

Turn off State Highway One (SH1) at the Brenderwyn Hills and follow SH12, head towards Dargaville. Pass through Ruawai and continue to head north. Around 5kms past Ruawai, on the main highway (SH12) you will notice the Ruawai airfield to your left. The marae is about half a kilometre past the airfield, on the right. The marae is easy to see once you have passed the airfield. Please aim to be outside the marae gate at least 15 minutes before the start time of 10am.
