We are sorry but DoC have made it clear that, although the mandatory 2 month submission period occured over the Christmas holidays when everyone was away, there is no possibility for them to bend the rules because they have no legal power under the Marine Reserves Act 1971 to grant extensions.

You can continue to send your comments to option4 where they will be taken into account when option4 elaborate on their submission but they will not be sent directly to DoC.
