option4.CO.NZ Meeting Held: August 4, 2000 10:00 am - 1:00 pm N.Z. Fishing News Level 7, 45 O'Rorke Road Penrose

Attendees: Bob Burstall, Grant Dixon, Sam Mossman, Mark Airey, John Eichelsheim, Bill Cooke, Ray Everson, Paul Barnes, Keith Ingram, Peggy Barnes, Scott Macindoe, Geoff Romerill.

Minutes:

A discussion document concerning the Options as set out in the "Soundings" document was tabled for comment. A fourth option was also tabled and discussed with a view to presenting, in conjunction with the Soundings document, all options available to recreational fishers.

It was decided that option4 should be made public in a widespread campaign through clubs, local/regional newspapers, N.Z. Fishing News magazine and by word of mouth.

The objectives of option4 were given verbally by Paul Barnes at the meeting, a copy of these objectives will accompany this letter.

The following positions were voted upon and agreed upon by all of the attendees:
